Beyond Small Talk: Networking for Law Students

Want to learn and practice your networking skills? This year, FACL Western and FACL UCalgary are teaming up to host an interactive networking workshop and mixer. 

We’ll start with a workshop by Steven Ngo (Founder & CEO of Beyond the A, and past President and Founder of FACL Western), who will share how to build genuine connections in a way that actually feels like you. Then, you’ll get the chance to put those skills into practice with lawyers in a low-key, no-pressure environment.

Feeling awkward? That’s expected (and encouraged) as part of the learning process.
